I am in a four year private university, and I am tired of hearing the same old answers for this question. Is there anything that is not commonly spoken of regarding this topic?

Well work study is the tradition answer, but I would intern for a big company. if you start to work for then, they will often cover the cost of your schooling. Also, any place you have worked might give you a small scholarship, like a resturant or bookstore, just don't be afraid to ask for help

Maybe you should transfer to a state school. They are cheaper than private schools, and in some cases provide very comparable educations. I don't know what you consider to be the "same old answers", but if your school will allow you to transfer hours from another school, perhaps you can consider that. For example, take the basics like English, history, math, kineseology at a community college, and transfer the hours over. Your degree and transcript will still say that you graduated from the private 4-yr university, but check with an advisor for details.

Start looking into scholarships. Right now I attend the University of Texas and it costs right around $12,000 a year. Through a few small scholarships and a relatively large scholarship I only pay for books and living expenses. ITs possible, but you have to start early. Here's a good place. This is responsible for $8,000 of my scholarship money.

you don't have to leave home to get an education! Just, say: Mom, dad, I am back. take your needed classes at a less known college, and if you do as good as you hope, then transfer to the BIG ONE as late as you can and still graduate from there. We won't tell.

Try raising beer money. Start your own business and fundraising online.

I've got a couple of episodes about this.
