I think it is because you can use F2F and the program is based in another country, so if you use it the RIAA can't sue you because it's legal in the country where Ares Galaxy is made plus it uses an open sourcefourge sharing type, which is a lot safer. If you're smart enough to read the license agreement on limewire and other filesharing programs you will see that it says that they get to take control of your computer to share your files that you downloaded, on ares they don't do that because you don't have to share files if you don't want to.
