Get some kimchee, with the juice, add 1 cup water, 3 tablespoons of hotpepper paste, your fav sausage chunked, can of spam chunked, 1/2 to 1 lb ground beef, angel hair noodles or your fav ramyon noodle. Place all items in either a WOK or shallow frying pan on med heat for about 20 mins or until the water has boiled long enough to cook the meat.......ENJOY>>>>>
I have been making it for years.....

Budaechigae, I personally did not know people wrote it like this, but anyway, basic stuff are kimchi, and hot pepper paste, and spam as others mentioned.

The thing that others leave out is the fact that budae means military base and chigae is korean style stew. Basically Koreans living near US military bases obtained some meats(spam, roast beef, ham, etc.) from the bases and made essencially kimchichgae with those meats, so you can use any deli meats in there that you want.

Sorry, I couldn't find any recipes online that were translated from Korean to English.

However, the following two sites (in English) have great, authentic recipes (though they don't have budeh-jjigae) that are easy to follow along:

http://www.trifood.com

http://www.xanga.com/koreancooking

Hope that helps!
