Ahh the days of ramen noodles and beer. College. For snacks, try to get some fruit like oranges and apples You'll need the vitamins more than you know. Plus, it's cheap.
Here's a cheap recipe.

White Macaroni:
boil enough macaroni to feed your group when it's done, drain and put back in the pot. put in some butter 2-4 Tablespoons depending on how much pasta you have and salt and pepper to taste.. you can add garlic powder if you have some. then sprinkle a bunch of parmesan cheese on top and chow down

When I was in college I ate a lot of Ramen noodles (extremely cheap!) Banquet pot pies, spaghetti-o's and mac and cheese with a can of tuna mixed in. No wonder you miss home cooking when you go off to school!

Use pita pockets instead of bread to make sandwichs. Try stuffing a pita pocket with turkey, bacon bits, lettuce, tomatto and ranch dressing. It's a great alternative to a plain old sandwich.

Two minute noodles. Celery with peanut butter. Rice cakes buttered and then microwaved for fifteen seconds. Tinned tuna and crackers - tuna has protein so you don't get hungry again. Make soup and freeze it for when you're hungry.
