i found out my serious bf took a handful of condoms from our house...to vegas on a trip with his friends. when i confronted him he swore to god he did not use them and would never ever ever cheat on me. he cried, i cried and he promised he wouldn't ever hurt me. he claims the condoms were for his friends. i am still with him (it's been 2 months) but have lost a lot of trust. can i forgive him and most importantly BELIEVE him???????

Kind of hard to believe or not believe him. Only thing I can really say is watch him. Whether or not hes lying, just keeping a close eye on him will let you know what really is going on. Let him know because of this, you've lost all trust with him. Why is it that he had to bring condoms for his friends anyways? Find that out too. No one here can tell you what to do or not to do. Thats your decision. Just be careful though. Wish ya the best!

Cheater.
A guy only takes condoms if he is thinking about having sex. He just wanted to be safe if the opportunity arose. I don't know if it did or not, but that is immaterial. It's like taking a gun to a bank robbery. Even if you don't use it, you are still armed and dangerous.
I find it even harder to believe that he took the condoms for his friends. Why would he give a crap if his friends used condoms or not? Why would he want to donate condoms to his friends? Are his friends too poor or stupid to purchase their own? I doubt it, if they can afford to go to Vegas.
I think he took them as a precaution. I'm not sure if he cheated, but he is certainly on the look out for an opportunity, and if you can't live with that, then don't.

its hard to say...i was kinda in the same situation, but it turned out my boyfriend did cheat on me. In my opinion i do not think he cheated, he could have brought them knowing that his friends were going to be bad little boys in vegas, and he didn't want them to be unsafe. I have done that for my friends. I think if he looks your eyes, and he cried, he is either a really good liar (no guy is) or he is sincere!! Note to self....if you are in a relationship you should not be going to Vegas without your significant other. This is the outcome almost everytime!!! sorry your upset girl i know how you feel

why would you need condoms for a trip a handful at that ??? hmm of coarse they will never admit it if he is not actually caught

Cant see why he would sneak them out for his buddies. If he hid that he took them he is cheating.
If his buddies can afford a trip to vegas, I think they could afford a few condoms for the trip especially if they were going just to get laid.If they spent $20 for a hooker, they could spring another dollar for a condom.

You'll never know the truth, so do you want to believe him? You can forgive and move on, but unless you trust him your relationship will be plagued.
Also, tell bf to stop being stupid. Did he not realize that you may be upset if condoms went missing and so did he? Duh!

Why would he need to bring some for his friends? I suggest you ask him not to do it again, I mean the cheating. Tell him you love him and it will stay that way if he will not do it again.

Yeah, guilty. He's scared that you know, that's why he cried. His friends could've definately supplied their own condoms.

It sounds like a plausable explanation, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt. However if he ever gives you any other reason to suspect him...dump him without a blink.
