Well, to keep luscious locks, try to keep them conditioned! Try using conditioner before and after shampooing to retain that moisture, because its the moisture that keeps waves and curls looking sexy!
Try using your favorite hair gel straight out of the shower, braid the hair up in two nice sized, large braids the night before an event.... In the morning, take down the big braids, mist with water and you have some sexy waves! Its that easy and all you have to do to keep them up is rebraid and unbraid every night!
Also, be sure to get a trim to ensure less frizz and refrain from using "water-based" gel - that causes frizz because it has little to no hold no matter what the labeling says!
Hope that helps out!

i have done both of these to my hair and i like them both, but i like # 2 better. as a hairstylist, i often recommend these two remedies to my customers; if your hair is darker, i find #1 looks better. if lighter, #2 looks better.
1. use garnier frizz-ease to rid your hair of frizz, but keep your wave, then use a 1 inch barrel or bigger curling iron just on the bottom 2 inches or so. Doing it this way will make it look like you naturally have no frizz and slightly curled ends. don't curl too much or it will be obvious you curled it.
2. mix 1tbsp of table salt or sea salt with 1cup water and put in a squirt bottle. Do not use any anti-frizz concoction if you use this easy remedy. it gives your hair the flirty curls that result when you have beem swimming in the ocean! and it enhances natural curls/waves!

I have found the perfect way to create the perfect curly hair style. You start out with straight hair, frizzy is fine, and you curl the top layers of your hair. Don't spend too much time on it thoug because they don't have to be perfect. The spray the curls with hairspray and brush it out. It creates this cool wavy/curly effect and looks great on a ton of people. I love the way it looks. Once you perfect your technique you can achieve the look of the hair models on Tv.

I just got hot rollers and they are amazing. They get rid of frizz and give my hair a ton of volume. The kind I got is Conair infiniti because they reduce frizz and have a retractable cord. They were a little pricey though.

First, don't use products with alcohol, they'll only bring you more frizz. Try Caruso steam hair rollers. You can get them at Sally beauty supply. They eliminate frizz and the curls last until you wash them out!
