i just need to convert some timelapse photos (jpg) into an avi file for a publication supplement. the clip only runs like 3.5 seconds but windows movie maker refuses to make it less than 15M and the file has to be under 5M can also be in mpeg format.

because you are using uncompressed video?

you'd have to apply a filter/codec to get it smaller.

sorenson
cinepack
intel video

etc


also, what is your resolution? Teh bigger the video the bigger the file size.
