I'm wondering Navarro how you discovered this? It sounds like there is an internal, direct short to ground, the alternator is defective and should be replaced.

You should NEVER ever unplug an alternator on a running vehicle. Not any modern car that is. Not only can you blow out hundreds of dollars worth of alternator, you can fry the more expensive car computer as well. You test them with a meter and amp guage. Or take the alternator to a shop and have them check it on a machine or at parts house. Please don't unplug alternators and plug them in with the car running. That hasn't been the right thing to do since the mid 80's.

nicely...it might desire to be various issues. chilly start up severe idle (which seems such as you're describing) won't be a huge situation yet can consume into your gasoline. My suggestion is to envision then clean (with qd electronics purifier and a paper towel/shop disposable towel) the mass air bypass sensor on your motor vehicle and clean the intake tract (the piping between the air field and the intake manifold) as much as the throttle physique with carburetor purifier. replace the intake filter out (in the air field). that would desire to do it. continually facilitates to have the motor vehicle scanned (at autozone or any motor vehicle areas shops) whether this is obd1 so which you will locate what the subject is.
