Not all Christians mock people. Your views are just that, your views. You have that God given right to not believe in Him if that is what you choose. That is what true Christians believe!

Let's be clear, belief in God is not Christianity. The devil himself acknowledges God. Belief that Jesus was Born of Virgin Birth, Lived a Sinless life, Was the Son of God, was crucified, died , resurrected and ascended into Heaven and obedience to His commands is Christianity. Anything else is religion. No one is righteous (Rom 3:23) Disobedience leads to death (Rom 6:23) but salvation is free from God through Jesus (Rom 6:23) proven by His death (Rom 5:8) Call on Him and receive salvation(Rom10:9,10).
We do not mock you.

You answered my question, so let me answer yours.
First off, not all Christians mock atheists.
I don't. I believe in God. I don't think Christians should force anything on anybody, and I definately don't think Christians should tell non-belivers they are going to hell, because NO ONE knows that. Not you, not I, not anyone on this earth.
And not all Christians do those things.

Atheist mock anybody who hold a view of spirituality. Atheist get very vindictive as if one was trying to destroy the Church of Science.
There is no higher moral ground.

just read some of the postings on this forum.....they are clearly antagonistic, insulting, and demeaning to Christians so naturally some of them will respond in kind. That doesn't make it right but no one likes to be demeaned or insulted.

Mike S., there are exceptions to every rule. Atheist was spelled correctly by hush-hush (and by most others here.) Also, you should have use "you're", a contraction, not "your", a possessive adjective.

Most of the time it seems as though atheists mock us. "They believe in an invisible man in the sky! They must be idiots!" I've heard things like this, and others many times from atheists. Who really is arrogant and ignorant? Who really mocks who?
