They're probably fine. Alcohol has to be labeled with a % and warning label

It depends on how she feels about alcohol.
I didn't like the taste of anything when I was pregnant, especially chocolate and liquor.
She can always let her husband eat them, or she can wait until after the baby is born if she is leery about alcohol during pregnancy. I don't think that one piece would do any harm.
I figure that if she ate the whole box, she would probably suffer as much from the chocolate as she would from the liquor.
How pregnant is she? If she is giving birth soon, she might want a box of liqueur candies after the baby is born.
Does she take any medication that would cause a reaction if it was mixed with alcohol?
I would definitely recommend the chocolate. Can you get her something without the liqueur? Either way, it will be okay.

Any form of alcohol is not safe for the baby. These might seem harmless but you would be surprised. The baby drinks/eats/breathes everything the mother does. Get her some non alcoholic chocolates.
I realize that some doctors might say that a little alcohol might be OK for the mother but not too much, but wouldn't you rather just avoid this whole scenario.
Remember everyone reacts differently to alcohol, especially an unborn baby!

I have two favorite drinks I make with Baileys. 1st- Usually called a Buttery Nipple or Copper Camel. Shot glass 1 Oz Baileys 1 Oz Buttershots (Dekyuper makes my fav.) AKA Butterscotch Schnapps. I layer the Baileys on the Buttershots, you can do this by pouring down the side of the glass tilted slightly, or over a spoon held against the inside of the glass. 2nd- Screaming Orgasm 1 Oz Baileys 1 Oz Kahlua 1 Oz Amaretto 1 Oz Vodka and 4 Oz Half and Half Shake well Serve over ice Pint Glass

The amount of alcohol in those chocolates is infinitesimal! Now if you were to give her the whole bottle of Bailey's, I'd say, Back off! But chocolates? Nah. All those other answerers are way overreacting.

If they contain alcohol, and she is pregnant, why do you want to tease her like that. Buy some nice Godiva for Christmas and give her the Bailey's after the baby is born.
