Its occured to me before but think about this. How did you feel when you found out there was no santa clause? Cheated, lied to, manipulated, disrespected, lost trust, lost faith. Im actually quite serious. When I was a kid and I found out that everyone had been lieing to me year after year it made me think about what else they had lied to me about, like Jesus and God. The thing is we all participate in this yearly lie and if you look at where it came from you will find that the guy in the red suit was created by coca cola. I have come to believe that once you are robbed of trust and faith you lose everything and your truly a pawn in someone elses game. I seriously think its all very sinister, shouldnt we just stop lieing to our childeren now, and if were going to have christmas at all we should all go back to how it was meant to be.

No. I think the biggest conspiracy is making people believe that outer space aliens are evil and that they want to take over the planet.

Santa Claus is just a branch of the consumerism conspiracy. The consumerism conspiracy is people with lots of money continuously putting effort into convincing the masses that they NEED to buy stuff or else their lives have no meaning. This ongoing process is what's causing so much environmental pollution, depression and even physical disease. People live in fear of not being cool enough, or not being generous enough, or simply not having enough "stuff" to be part of and accepted by society and/or to survive the challenges of life.

It may seem simplistic and unthreatening, but it's not. It's very evil and irresponsible and yet it's the way the whole world functions nowadays. This conspiracy is causing lots of global and individual agony.

The moral of the story is: Stop being a mindless shopper. Buy nothing you don't need. What you buy makes factories continue to make stuff that pollutes. At the same time, what you buy perpetuates the ability of the wrecklessly selfish and irresponsible ones to keep on putting out commercial to make people believe that they need to shop and that they are not good enough just being who they are. By shopping you give the rich ones more money to keep on brainwashing you with their TV, radio, billboard and internet ads into giving them more money. Simultaneously you are damaging your health and your own planet. It's crazy and sad.

It's a vicious circle that only we can put an end to by Loving ourselves and the planet that shelters us. Let's stop the madness. Let's NOT go shopping.

No one ever lied to me about Santa Clause. I was always told that he was a Bishop who lived a few hundred years ago.

There was a family of very poor people. None of the daughters could get married because they couldn't afford a dowry. Once a year Saint Nicolas (Santa Clause in German) threw a small sack of gold coins through the window of the poor family's house. It was just enough for one girl's dowry. He did this every year until all the girls were able to marry. I always thought it was a nice story.

No Santa Claus, I don't believe it. If you have kids then your Santa Claus. Your father is Santa Claus. Santa Claus is the person who puts the presents under the tree, whether it's your mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, or even you. When we tell the kids about Santa Claus it's just a fairy tell so they wont find out about you.

And yes we are pawns in some else's game. You see I am God's pawn, I do what He wants me to do. And I love every second of it.

Saint Nicholas was emphasized in my childhood as the gift giver. Santa Nicholas, who was Christlike in his giving gold to the girls who hadn't a dowery, is the original Santa Claus. If one believes in Saints, one can believe in Santa Claus. For us too, Santa is our own Father, Uncle, Grandfather whoever is our guardian on earth. As you know, God gives us these parents. I've just read in the Catholic Digest about Christmas, and I think that a writer said that originally gifts were given only to the poor children. Someone must have decided that all children are poor, perhaps. Christmas, remembering the first coming of Christ, is celebrated so sincerely, and so beautifully in expectation of the second coming of Christ.

Yes, seemingly decent people have lied to us about:
Santa,
The Easter Bunny,
The Tooth Fairy,
The Sand Man,
Ghosts,
Satan,God, and Jesus Christ.
Then those same people punished us for lying or being dishonest.
These were the people who we thought liked us, and we trusted them the most.
Can you imagine what someone might do to us if they DIDN'T like us?
