I have this guy friend and my good friend,Kiara, went out earlier this school and we are all just a little gruop of friends. I know he lkes me for sure bcuz he told me. I just wanna kno if u think we should go out. But the ONE thing I fear the most is that if we DO go out snd we break up wil that ruin our friendship!!! Help me PLEAE:(

Any time you start dating a good friend you risk ending your friendship if you ever break up. It's very hard to go back to friends once you have dated someone. You just have to ask yourself if you like him more as a friend or as a potential boyfriend? Since your girlfriend also dated him you should probably consider her feelings as well. By becoming a couple with this boy she becomes the third wheel in the relationship and may feel awkward or jealous towards the both of you. She may also be angry you are dating her ex-boyfriend even though they have broken up. You'll need to weigh your options here and consider the negative and positive effects this may have on all three of you. Is having this guy as a boyfriend worth losing one, maybe even two good friends?

If you value your friendship with Kiara, you should probably stay away from this boy. She might say that she doesn't mind if you go out with him, but I think to be safe just do not go out with him. Think of it this way. do you want to go out with a guy, and break up with him later, or do you want a friendship with Kiara that might last a lifetime.

Ask him to go bowling, or running or whatever you guys like to do, then approach it slowly, tell him you don't want this to ruin your friendship if he says no. hope this helps. how old r u?

this was my first question too!
in the end it ruined our close friendship we had.
it was pretty sad.
"my bestest guy friend one day called me at the park and asked me if i wanted to go out with him and i totally rejected him cause i wanted to us to be friends." but now no more friendship cause he got real upset.
if you really love your friend and the friendship you guys have you won't go out with him.
but if you guys want to go out go ahead.
