I am a grandma of a boy that i raised tell he was 13 then he wanted to try to live with his mom so i gave him back and she got in trouble with the welfare so now he is 14 and with me again and he wants me to adopted him should i are not

If you have taken care of all this time and have been there for him,,,,and you even let him try and be with his mom(good grandma) then why not?? It sounds like you will be taking care of him for a very long time and he must love you to death. I would say definatley go for it,,,especially if hes asking you to do it. Good luck

What a wonderful grandmother you are! If this is what both you and your grandson want, then please do it. Always allow him to see and spend time with his mother though, but go ahead with the adoption, it's the right thing to do.

i agree with prettibird the girl above me. you are his grandmother not his dead beat mother. plus in the long run it will help him. when going to college he will be able to declare himself independent and get better financial aid at least for me it did. my mother died when i was 15 and i didn't want be adopted.

no i don't think you should
you should be his GRANDMOTHER not his MOTHER,
but what you should do is get full custody of him
