i have had the BIGGEST crush on this guy FOREVER! but then i got a boyfriend. i secretly still liked him though, but i knew it could never happen. then, today he asked me to be his girlfriend! i had to say no because i have a boyfriend. but i dont really love my boyfriend as much and i feel guilty. what do i do?

I had the same thing happen to me 40 years ago. I said no to someone I really wanted to be with because I was with someone. To this day I regret that I didn't go out with him. It sounds like you are with your current boyfriend because it's better than not having one at all. You need to breakup with him and go out with the guy you really want to be with. If you don't you will never be happy and he deserves the chance to be with someone who really cares about him.. You are not doing him any favours by staying with him. And you should feel guilty because you are not being honest with him or yourself. Just make sure this new guy isn't just adding you to his conquests.

Well first of all be honest with your now boyfriend and tell him that you don't love him. Second, we always want what we can't have. In other words ... your forever guy that you have liked may now like you because you aren't available. Make sense?
Just be careful. You are going to hurt someone in the process. Would you want to be that person if the shoes were on the other feet?

well there is that sayin dont leave the 1 u luv 4 the 1 u like cuz theyll leave u 4 the 1 they luv!!! but honestly u just needa do whatever u feel it right cuz i mean if ur w/ur bf but not fully commited cuz ur thinkin the what~ifs then that aint gunna b good 4 either of u. so my advice would b follow ur heart it knos best just b careful cuz the grass mite not b greener on the other side! Well, the fact that you are still talking about it is your answer. You will never be happy w/ your current man w/o pursuing this guy. You'll always have doubts. I'd say go for it. Sometimes you have to do what is best for you, and in the long run, it is best for him to break it off now rather than waiting until the relationship gets to serious.

Dump your current guy (nicely!) and go out with the one you really like. You'll be second guessing yourself forever otherwise. Just make sure it's not a grass is greener kind of thing and you really like the other guy more.
Next time, ask the guy you like out before you accept going steady with someone. Hearts are not your toys, be gentle with them!

do you guys talk frequently if so then you need to end it w/your current BF and just talk to the crush and find out how hes really like. its one thing to be looking at someone and its another to know them. There has to be a connection or it wont work, it cant just be by physical attraction only. Its a toughy because you can lose your current BF and then find out that Crush is a loser and then your stuck all alone! chose wisely grasshopper!

Don't line up guys...it hurts you aswell as them. See who you think you can be with the longest...sure adoring someone for a while makes an impact but it also blinds you to his bad chararistics. Remember what made you agreee to going out with your current boyfriend..that might help you deside.

Some how someway you have to break up with your boyfriend cuz you don't even like him and staying with him just makes him think that you want him but you don't. You should deffinitely go out with this other guy that you say you like.

i would first follow your heart.. who makes you happier? who is good to you? whose there for you? whose face could you wake up to every morning? whose arms would you rather be in? who has a better personality? whose into what your into? which one is gonna make you stay who you are and make you happy at the same time? go with what you feel, your either gonna hurt one of them, or your gonna end up hurting yourself for not doing what you wanted to about the situation.. pick someone for who they are and how good they are to you, dont base it on how they look or how popular they are.. it's usually the popular ones who just want to see how many girls they can get... good luck and very best wishes..
