It seems to me that Christ is very clear on the concept of marriage between a man and a woman. Most especially considering the whole human race is dependent upon these relationships.

So we as Christians should rewrite the Bible to our current era? Upon whose interpretation would we find authenticity? Or can there ever be authentic interpretation to what Christ really meant via Holy Spirit, biblical writers, or any tradition?

Christ did not write Ephesians. The Bible was written for a time and a people far different than our culture today. The Bible may have been inspired by God, but it was written by man - and man could have taken a few liberties with it. So many discoveries have been made since then that one must rethink what was previously believed.

Union of man and woman is interpreted as marriage.
But it is not so . It -as it says- it is union of man and woman. Please read up the meanings of 'union'. so firstly union does not mean marriage.
By the way, the bible was first written 500 years after Christ. Until then his teachings were interpreted generation after generation by persons of standing to suit the context of the time.
Any student of theology knows this as fact.
Even during our lifetime the keepers of religions are emphasizing different things at different times to suit the present times.
See the Muslim world and the Catholic world. They emphasis what is needed to be in power and position!

Man is a tripartite being, Spirit, Soul, and Body. God is tripartite, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is not a good example but you get the idea.

i don't know... when i see two dogs gettin it on, i wonder if that's a sign of christ, too. because, when it happened, the owner of one of the dogs ran out and yelled "jesus christ!!!" and then, he baptised them both with a big bucket of water.
