when is the deadline. i looked at fafsa.gov but they haven't posted the 07-08 fafsa yet

The new FAFSAs are usually available in January but you need your tax information for them, so you could wait until you've filed your taxes to fill it out.

You can start filling out the FAFSA for the 07-08 school year on January 1st, at the stroke of midnight Eastern Standard Time. The deadline for FAFSA range between states. Some have march 1st, april 20th, some have June 30th... But the FAFSA deadline overall is June 30th

You can start as early as Jan 1 07 but don't forget you need your tax returns to complete the form. The dead line is around April- May I believe. Good luck in your results I will be filling them out also.

You'll be able to file Jan 1.
While you will need your parent's tax information if they're able to claim you as a dependent, you can use their last pay stubs for 2006. That shows what they made for the year, and you can use that to file.

Maybe the best thing to do is check with your school, they should know. However keep checking the site they may make updates. It could be after finals in Dec. that they start taking apps.
