Ripping DVDs one file?

how can i rip a movie off a dvd to just one large file

what programs would i use

then how else could I convert it to my ipod as fast as possible

DVD Decryptor as well as every other program I have used to "rip" dvd's always splits up the audio files and the video files (usually anywhere from 18-35 files - and then when you burn it it puts it all back together into something cohesive) based on how they are burned on the disc. I dont think you CAN rip it as one whole file UNLESS you simply make an ISO (ghost image) of the entire disc and then burn the ISO file as a whole.
