peopl say u can do whatever u set ur mind too, but say u want to be a dentist and u dont do that great in school? but u work really hard?

yes- u can pretty much do whatever u set ur mind to, but u REALLY have to set ur mind to it. u can work hard, sure, but if ur goal is seriously that hard to reach, work HARDER. if u r not doin great in school but wanna be a dentist, TRY HARDER. if u r havin doubts, is ur mind REALLY set to this goal? u have to believ u can do this- don't expect others to try and tell u that u can- b/c we can tell u, but u hafta believe it, believe in YOURSELF. good luck becoming a dentist. i THINK u can probably do it- but u have to KNOW that YOU can. good luck and i hope i helped...

You can still be a dentist if you work really hard. You have to also work at being great in school.
Please don't lump my answer with the "yes, you can do anything you set your mind to because all of us are unlimited beings" category. No, you can't do whatever you set your mind to. Sometimes, it's just not in the mix for you to do it. Some people can overcome some things. But not every amputee can enter the NFL and outperform their legged counterparts. Not every 4'8" woman can become a supermodel.
Look at reality when you can. Optimism works if you need a boost from the placebo effect. (Like a self-fulfilling prophecy.)
PS: If you're looking to the Bible to guide you, you'll have to unlearn many things you learned in medical classes. Check out Leviticus' cure for leprosy. Not many of us want to dip blood on ourselves nowadays.
