The surgery consists of an incision in the neck area and the crushing of a vein not sure as to which vein he is talking bout.But he says it is effective. Just want to know has any 1 every gone through with this type of surgery and is it effective? The last test is called A GASTRIC/BILIARY scan.

The question stated they have had the hiccups for over three years, don't you think that they would have tried everything conceivable by now to try and stop it.

If the doc has done it many times with success, I would do it, the hiccups would drive me crazy.

Isn't it funny how some people are so against modern surgery or medicine but people are living longer more than we ever have? hmmm, it makes you wonder.

Dont do it.....the surgury may cause other problems.
To make hiccups go away fast, rub the hole at the throat in circles and the hiccups will go away.
Or eat a spoon of sugar.
U may need some pepcid AC...all hiccups are are airbubbles.
