It's NOT a baby - it's a clump of cells.

Abortion is saddening.
Unwanted children are even more heart wrenching.
All the "pro-life" people....Where are they when it comes to providing education to young girls and boys about their sexuality?
What about making sex education and birth control easily available to any one who needs it?
What about dispensing reliable birth control?
Did you know that some pharmacy chains allow their pharmacists to refuse dispensing birth control (and not just the "morning after" pill) because they don't "believe" in it? I'll bet they aren't allowed to decide which patients get other medication. Do you think they withold Viagra from men????
What about support before, during and after the unwanted pregnancy?
The deputy secretary of population affairs, Eric Keroack, is not only anti-choice, but is also against birth control!!! How can you be anti-abortion and anti birth control??????? He oversees Title X. which provides funding for contraception and reproductive health information. Warm fuzzy feeling there, huh.
What about these kids when they come into the world? Where is help then? Instead of school lunch, we have tax cuts for the wealthiest portion of the population. Instead of education and good jobs, we get companies moving manufacturing overseas to employ 30 cents per hour labor.
Things do need fixing in our country. Outlawing abortion is not the way to start.

There are THREE basic positions:

1. ANY abortion is wrong.
2. Abortions may be allowed under extenuating circumstances, e.g if pregnancy results from rape.
3. ANY abortion is right.

By your use of the word "wrong", it is assumed that it is NOT the legal but the MORAL sense.

Here is the problem: A just delivered full-term baby: Is that a baby?
Suppose that because of poor health of the mother, that baby was delivered by C-section at 7 months, is that a baby? Would abortion of the 'clump of cells' at 7 months (a baby that can survive outside of his mother's womb) not be considered wrong? If it is right to destroy the 7-month-old fetus, what is WRONG about destroying the 2-hour old baby, PROVIDED THE BIRTH HAS NOT AS YET BEEN REGISTERED? After all, until the birth has been registered, that baby is a NON-PERSON. The constitution only guarantees the right to life to a PERSON!

But I have strayed from my original point. How far back would you go to determine when "it" changed from a mass of cells to an undelivered baby? Scientist cannot pin-point that time so the pro-life say that at conception a new life begins. And rightly so.

What exactly is wrong about it? What if the fetus is killed one week before delivery? How about one week after? There are actually some who would accept that. How about three years after - what's the difference?
But then on the other hand, how about on the morning after? Surely it's not the same thing, though some would say it is. What's needed is for the "baby killers" and "screaming fanatics" to talk to each other and possibly both learn something. By the way it's not just a clump of cells.

That little clump of cells is the start of a human life with a soul. Its the soul that makes the difference. You know we live in a day where there are pretty good choices for birth control, abortion, should be used only under extreme and rare situations. It should not be a form of birth control.

There is nothing wrong with abortion.
People take away lives on whom several others are dependant such as the mother, father, etc. in the name of religion, race language country etc.
The same people, when it comes to abortion they become saints and angels without even asking why a person wants the abortion.
They think that killing for a artificial boundary or a falsely interpreted religion to preserve degenerate and barbaric race or a defunct language is OK. Abortion is the only right or way out for an unfortunate person until the so called 'civilized' society has made adequate provision for the situation in which the mother or father to be find themselves.
Now (very slowly) the countries are trying to help out the Aids patients and children because they are a heavy toll on the funds.
Until the state sets up acceptable solutions and systems for unwanted children (due to unavoidable circumstances) abortion should be Legal and the Right of the mother or father as the case may be. The righteous individuals who don't see the beam in there own eye should be sent to the war front to fight for race, language, country and religion!

Have you ever seen an embryo?Have you ever known anyone who had an abortion, and the remorse they feel their entire life.I have, they grieve for a child not a clump of cells.Have you ever seen a small seed sprout, would you have any care for that seed that you see if it were to be a beautiful flower,or would you carelessly rip it to shreds. You need to take a close look at an embryo, and see if you cannot see human life in the making then you decide if its murder or not.Millions of lives have been killed because of lack of understanding as to what they are doing. But I have seen the after affects of mothers and Fathers who grieve their entire lives over taking and tearing what you call a clump of cells.

Lets start by defining for you life. Life begins at conception. Conception means when a sperm fertilizes an egg. So thus, those clumps of cells is life. Abortion takes away that life. Killing is bad. If we allow abortion than we should just kill old people. Because obviously they are no good to society. How about those who are handicapped (in any way) , well they can't contribute as much to society, so will kill them. You see. That is why we are against abortion. because it is the killing of life. And if we continue killing, we will begin to kill other people who we think should not live.

As early as 6-8 weeks, the BABY has tiny arms, legs and a face. It's heart is beating, although you may not be able to hear it yet with a stethoscope. Usually women don't even know that they pregnant until 6-8 weeks. Even at conception, the BABY has 46 chromosomes just like any other human and the sex has already been determined through the XX or XY chromosomes. By the time most women find out they are pregnant, that baby has already formed and all it needs is the chance to grow. It's called education.......look into it. Check it out in any biology book, it's not BS.

I am not a religious person but it is a baby according to God its called murder except when the case of the mother or child is going to die. I don't think that I was a clump of cells. But try this their are many wealthy people that would love to have a child so why would you kill something that is so precious. The Greatest gift is giving life.

There is absolutely no problem with abortion, except in my opinion once that baby becomes able to think or is past so many weeks old in the womb.

Religious people just don't understand that if God has a plan for EVERYONE then God had a plan to make abortions possible and for these possible-humans to be unable to enter life.

What about the 20% of pregnancys that end in a miscarriage? That's WAY more than the ammount of abortions that are done.
