I got my friend a picture frame with several different sized slots for pictures of me and her for a christmas gift. But I don't know how to go about resizing pictures and printing them out, NOT from a computer printer, like actually photos that would be developed. Help?

You can go to any place like Walmart or CVS that has one of those do-it-yourself photo centers. First, copy all your photos onto a CD and take it in. Then, you can play around with it with their machine (like cropping or taking out the red eye). It's fun, it's easy and not too expensive, unless you are printing a bunch...in which case, do all your editing at home and then burn the CD and drop it off to be developed. Early morning is the best time to use one...a lot of people use them and the wait (especially for someone like you that will be doing the editing there) can be long (I waited for 45 minutes once...). Have fun!

I agree with Ana G. The Walmart do-it-yourself scanner is so easy to use. I took a childhood group photo of my friend, cropped it so it was just her in the picture, and blew up just her to an 8x10. My sister made me a whole scrap book of my life for my birthday. She copied photos and negatives at Walmart. She resized and cropped to get the pictures just right. It was a great present.

You can go to walmart to scan and re-size them on their do-it-yourself machines in the photo section. You can also add words and fun stuff like borders. It is not very expensive if you just scan and re-size them.
