Yes, you'll need a visa!!!

Switzerland could not care less if you have a work permit in UK!!! if you are a EU citizen, if you come to work you just need to apply for a short term visa (an L visa) when you arrive, and it will be granted. You will need to provide a copy of work contract (or of your affiliation to the school you plan to attend).
If you are not a EU citizen, you can kiss buh bye the idea, unless a company sponsors you. The delivery of work permits to non-EU citizens is extremely rare and only for very skilled workers, upon proof that a similar employee cannot be found locally.

am not familiar with the WP holder that u have mentioned. best would be to approach the Swiss embassy to get the exact information regarding the visa. here u would only get speculation. if u are keen to go to Switzerland do contact the embassy, u can contact them over the phone if u are hard pressed for time to visit them.

What is a "WP"? Specification would be helpful though....
