Some of you will recall that last week I posted a question about my 2 neighbors and their absurd breeding dreams. Well, it was a nice day yesterday, so I let my pups run in the yard while I was at my kids school for a couple hours... when I came back, T-Bone was running loose, the gate was open. I *always* check my gate... it was Definitely closed and latched before I left.
And he had white fur all over him. Great Pyrenees white fur... I'd BET on it.
What it comes down to is my dirtbag neighbor let T-Bone loose to romp with his Great Pyrenees b i t c h in heat... then didn't even bother to lock him back in the yard.
I *know* T-Bone needs to be neutered, but I will not go behind my husbands back to do so. He has to agree.
Is there any legal recourse I can take here? Not only did he use my dog against my express wishes, but he left him roaming free! What can I do?

Oh, and what do you think a Great Pyrenees /Pittbull cross will look like?

I wonder if I've got the Jerks!? My other neighbors 4-year-old said "I saw Mr Steve letting T-Bone and Snowy play piggy-back!"

And I've finallty got the fence fixed so that if no one *lets* him out... he's *not* getting out!

finally being last week when this all started... BEFORE he was let out!

I tested the fence before leaving him loose in the yard... brought T-Bone's best friend over to play just out side... ohhh how he tried to get out but couldn't!

As far as neutering T-Bone, don't go behind hubby's back, tell him to his face that T-Bone is getting neutered.

Can I ask why your husband does not want the dog neutered?
Sign up for the BSL updates on Yahoo and then maybe you will talk your husband into getting him neutered. I do not know where you live but Altoona IA just passed a BSL. Denver has outlawed Pitbulls and there are others as well that are doing it everyday.
as for your legal issue, you do not have any proof. Lock the gate with a pad lock and then he cannot get him out.

You need to tell your husband and you need to know that if you have an INTACT male, you do NOT leave it out in a yard UNATTENDED!!!!!!!!! IF by ANY chance he gets loose, he will track down ANY in heat female!!!! Dogs have climbed fences, dug under things, tore through things......the list goes on and on. It is kinda BAD to leave your intact male free in the yard when there is an IN HEAT female neighbor!!!!!
If they did what you say, they are WRONG! BUT, you have a part to play in that too. It is VERY easy for them to say your dog smelled his dog in heat and opened the gate, or climbed it...or whatever. Then THEY SUE YOU for your dog getting their pregnant!!!!!! VERY BAD management for an intact male!!!

Intact male Pit Bull was knowingly left unattended in back yard...with moron neighbor's ***** in heat...outside.

It was bound to happen. Your dog was likely to find his own way out whether the neighbor let him out or he freed himself.
If you knew of the moron neighbor's breeding plans why didn't you take the extra precaution to keep your dog secured inside while you were gone?

Be glad he didn't go far or better yet, go after someone.

You can not do any thing about it. If you did not see him do it. They might look like white hairy pitbulls or some other color. Ask your husband if he want the dog to be look for females in heat everytime you leave the house.

hummm...i don't think you have enough proof to take this to the law. i WOULD on the other hand talk to your neighbor about this. put a LOCK on your gate, and if this is a big deal to you....cameras...lol. i dont know what to tell you. maybe talk to your other neighbors, let them know whats going on, and ask them to keep a look out for you.

You should set up a video camera where the gate is. My friend had a problem with people messing with her dogs and she put up a camera. In court, video is solid evidence.

The only way to do anything about this legally is to see if the girl has pups, and you would have to pay to get the dogs DNA'd. This would mean doing DNA on the stud, ***** and all the pups.

I'd buy they ugliest dog ever next year or borrow one and let it hump the white ball of shite to death!

Can you not just, teach your dog to bite her jugular? I'm sorry but i'd be over the yard taking the pups back if she has them, she used your dog without consent! then you should give one to all your other neighbours to piss her off, as she will have to see them crap on her lawn every day!

If your neighbor is not a good one, maybe you should call the goverment agency. They'll get the case, and if it's that serious, maybe you should go to court.
