It's just an ancient prejudice ascribed to God to give it authority.

God made men and women, and knows the best how life works. Ever since the beginning, people have wondered if God is just trying to take away our fun. Over and over, it has shown that he actually is looking out for us, and will try to steer us the right way, like how we do with children. But, like children, we buck against that, and parents cannot control children forever. At some point, a child grows, and can choose to make bad choices and will pay for that. Homosexuality, is another trap that causes human pain, over time, it is not healthy, on a lot of levels, and God knows that. Some people are so enraged by this, that they just would rather do away with God and his people, than to seek what may be a better way. There is a battle going on, and it all seen with human eyes. Don't fall for the lies.

Alright start the insults....God has set up Moral law to protect us from things we cant understand yet. God made children to need the attributes of both male and female. Males have more aggresive attributes in general. Females have a softer and more nurturing nature in general. Children need both sides to develop with good equality in both. God the creator can put limitations of humanity because he knows better than we do. Thank goodness he set Moral law in the 10 commadments. Regardless if you think I am a idiot, you enjoy some of the protection they offer. Murder, rape, theft, etc. There are reason for all the laws God gives us, Hes not just trying to ruin our day. I lived outside Gods laws and still have consequences. I will greatfully obey His law because I cant see as He sees. Dawg gone it, if I enjoy the protection of Moral law at all that means I believe in a Moral law giver. Love is love can be used, and in the process all kinds of people will get hurt. Respectfully submitted with an open mind for both sides.

because religion is just a way of controling society and creating taboos, things that are bad for society are "against Gods will". Im early primitive societies the livelyhood of the whole tribe or clan depended on everyone reproducing to provide more labor for gathering or hunting or farming food. so gay behavior was taboo, as it was detrimental to the tribe. In modern society however we have the opposite problem with overpopulation becoming an issue. birth control will provide a partial solution thogh. but the prejudice against gayness prevails

There are a lot of behaviors that you can use this logic for. Pedophiles and polygamists are trying to use these type of arguments to advance their "lifestyles" at this time. They are filing court cases, hoping to capitalize on some of the legal precedents that have been established by same-sex related court cases. Europe is in the process of a population death spiral due to the collapse of legal and social constrictions on sexual activities. Perhaps God was concerned that civilization would completely collapse when society believed in nothing more than a sexual free-for-all.

Perhaps God would prefer that people who have same-sex type of inclinations dedicate themselves to Him or to other people. God specifically gave the command to "be fruitful and multiply", and given that this isn't in the cards for gay people, perhaps he wanted them to dedicate themselves to "good works."

I have not read the medical studies myself, but I have been told by someone who has that gay men suffer from many medical problems that are not seen in the heterosexual population. More prostate problems and other medical issues (that I would prefer not to detail). Perhaps God was concerned for the long-term health of "gay" men.

God is not against gay men but the Bible definitely condemns gay sex.

You're talking about Leviticus, aren't you?

Well, those were the laws of the Levites. Out dated and not spoken by God. They were spoken by Moses because the Levites believe that they needed a strict life ( sort of like puritans ) in order to be worthy to carry the 10 commandments.

And no, love is not love. Would you love you son the same why you would love your wife? I certainly hope not. < chuckle >

Best wishes.

Their are certain laws of nature which are put on earth for a reason. All illicit sex is not recommended. It only brings one suffering and misery. If your father said don't touch the fire because you will get burned and you do it anyway it is not your fathers fault. It is just the law of fire. it burns. so illicit sex burns it causes so many miseries. It is only attachment to the bodily conception of life. We are not these bodies we are spirit soul, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu etc. Being Gay means one is just attached to the previous body they had in the last life which is probably opposite gender of this life. That is why they are born that way. One has to understand karma and reincarnation to get the full picture. Lets stop the illusion and go to reality it is the only real happiness.

Mean and small-minded bigoted folk like to have a God who thinks the same way they do themselves, it's no coincidence that stupid and hateful people require their fictional God to be as stupid and hateful as they are.

Because God put us here to reproduce gays do not reproduce, and it has nothing to do with love, in my opinion it's just a sick mind to get turned on by same sex, being gay is abomination in Gods eyes simple fact, they will pay for there immoral acts.
