I have been terribly cold, easily irritable, and very resistant to light. I have been quieter than I usually am, and I have been having a hard time sleeping. My eating patterns are normal. Please. I would like to have some guess as to what's happening to me.

There could be several things wrong. First of all, do you feel depressed at all? Because changes in sleep patterns can indicate clinical depression. However, the coldness and irritabililty to light point to a more physical problem, like maybe a touch of flu that's so small that you're not presenting any intense symptoms like chills, body aches, or fever. I think you should get as much rest as possible for the next few days and then if you still feel weird, you should go see your doctor.

You're turning into a vampire. LOL. Seriously, I'm a nurse, and the best thing to do is go talk to your Doctor. Guessing about an illness on here isn't all that healthy. Good Luck ~~~

Depression, seasonal depression. Install full spectrum lights in your house and leave them on when you are home. Light helps fight depression. You might look into taking an herbal sleep aid.

You're lazy is all. Get off your butt, turn off the computer, go outside and participate in some kind of physical activity. Work it on out.

This sounds like it may be a thyroid disorder. It would not hurt to go visit your doctor and get checked out.
