It's possible that you're having a panic attack. They come on sort of suddenly for no real reason at all, and they can make you feel sort of dizzy and heart-pounding, like you're describing. I used to get them all the time when I was about 13 or 14, and then one day they just went away. There's really nothing you can do about them except wait them out and try to take deep, even breaths. If you're really worried, I suggest you go to the doctor, but wait a while (about an hour) and see if ou feel better first.

Could be an anxiety attack or a panic attack. I'm leaning more toward the anxiety though. I have had them in the past to the point that I thought I was having a heart attack. I had to lie down because I was so weak and I was shaking so bad that my knees couldn't hold my weight anymore. Come to find out my anxiety was attributed to my thyroid condition. There were many more symptoms than just the panic attacks. I hope that this helps, and maybe you should see the doctor just in case it is something more.

It's quite possible that you were hypoglycaemic. Had you eaten anything that day? If your blood sugars were running a little low it might explain this episode. It is really important to eat regularly, especially so if you are trying to fight off a cold! Less skateboarding and more rest, regular meals and plenty of fluids and you should be just fine.

You may have just had a small, short-lived panic attack. I have them from time to time, except mine last HOURS. They can be triggered by an obvious source, a subconscious source (for instance, maybe your subconcious thought you would hurt yourself while doint the trick), or seemingly by nothing at all.

If this starts to happen on a regular basis, see a doctor.

Good luck, sorry that happened!

Sounds like anxiety. I'm not sure though. How long has this been going on? If not long, then I'd wait it out a little bit before worrying. When this continues, you need to go to a dr immediately. I hope all is well.

It could be any of a number of things from hypoglycemia to parkinsons. If it happens again have it checked.
