I want to make some fudge and the recipe asks for marshmallow fluff...wasnt sure what it is but after doin a google search it appears to be a marshmallow version of jam...never seen it in supermarkets so anyone know of a good equivalent...i'm muslim so it would need to be free of alcohol and animal products...

3 egg whites
2 cups light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups icing sugar (confectioner's)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

In a large bowl, combine egg whites, syrup and salt beat with mixer for 10 mins, until thick add icing sugar.
beat on low speed add in vanilla, and beat until blended use this in any recipe called for marshmallow creme.
***NOTE*** This recipe makes a lot of fluff, but may be frozen for later use, just remove from freezer, and stir well with a spoon, or can be refrigerated for up to 1 week, just make sure to stir well with a spoon before using.
Use in any recipe calling for marshmallow fluff.

this sounds like a thing my mum used to make when we were kids, she called it "flummery" and it was basically jam and milk whisked together - you melt the jam and when its cooled a bit whisk in milk so its like Angel Delight consistency. Thats all thats in it so it would be halal. You need an electric whisk to get it really smooth.

of you can try halal marshmallows you can get from islamic shops and mosques??

Maybe you could find a recipe for fudge that doesn't require, marshmallow fluff?
