Ok does mac&cheese go in the grains vegetables.fruits.oils(sweets and sugar..).milk or dairy or meat and beans???

Of course I read most of the other answers before giving my answer. Even though if falls into many different categories I would put it in the grains. The major part of macaroni and cheese would be the pasta. So even though there is dairy in it, I don't think there would be enough in a serving to qualify as a full serving of dairy. But the serving of pasta would be enough to qualify as a serving of grains. I do agree though, you should try to eat whole wheat pasta. It is better for you. ANd a better source of grains. I would also take all those other components of the menu item into account and adjust accordingly when eating. Just because the amounts of fats, oils, etc doesn't equal a serving they still count towards a daily reccomended allowance.

the macaroni part is in the grains group since it is a pasta. The cheese part would go in the milk group, since cheese is made of milk. Also, most of the time, the cheese contains oil.

macaroni carbohidrate.would be grains but the BAD kind! don't eat white pasta or rice!

mac and cheese macaronie is in the grains section its a pasta so goes in breads starches pasta rice section so grains section and cheese is a dairy so its made of milk and refridgerated and calcium \enricheds so dairy
