i need to know how to make eggnog! help somebody?

Classic Nog
12 eggs (separated)
1 cp. sugar (or 1/2 cp. splenda)
1 1/2 cps. "Good" Bourbon
1/2 cp. "Good" Brandy
1 cp. Heavy Cream (whipping cream)
3 cps. Whole Milk
3 cps. Half & Half
1 1/4 tsp. Freshly Ground Nutmeg
In a large bowl: beat egg yolks & sugar with electric mixer on low speed - until well blended
Turn mixer to high speed & beat until thick & pale colored (approx. 10 mins.)
Add Bourbon & Brandy in a thin drizzle while continuing to beat at high speed.
Cover & refrigerate at least 20 minutes.
Separately whip egg whites & cream to form firm peaks.
Pour chilled egg yolk mixture into a large puch bowl; add milk, half & half & nutmeg.
Gently fold in egg whites & cream, just until blended.
Sprinkle with a bit more nutmeg & serve...
