Everyone has negative, depressing thoughts sometimes, especially when they're feeling tired or overly stressed. But it sounds like you're letting these thoughts take control of you and, in a sense, you're borrowing trouble.
I can understand how easy it is to fall into this type of thinking so here are some things that have really been helpful to me.
Since this type of thinking is a pattern, you need to break this pattern. Be aware of when you start thinking depressing thoughts and tell yourself that you are not going to think this way. Remind yourself at that moment what you're happy about in your life and what is special to you. Do this in a gentle and non-judgemental way so that you're not putting yourself down in any way. Just reminding yourself of what you appreciate in life can switch the negative thoughts over into positive thoughts.
Another good way to chase away depressing thoughts is to get involved in something that fully involves your mind like doing crossword puzzles, sudoku, video games or something like that. Physical exercise is also a good thing to do when you start to get into those thinking patterns.
Write a list of everything that's special to you, from friends and family to your favorite food, or something in nature that you love. Anything that's positive in your life.
Another great thing to do when you find yourself think that way is to listen to music. Just make sure it's something positive, uplifting or energizing.
By practicing these things you can break out of the pattern you've developed of this negative thinking; it really is possible.
Also, remember to be good to yourself by taking time to do things you enjoy, learning relaxation techniques, eating well and spending time with your loved ones. If you try these things and still feel that things aren't improving you really may want to talk to someone about it, such as a counselor or therapist.
I wish you all the best...take care

Have u thought about seeing your doctor perhaps, he may get u in touch with a councellor. The thing is ..... is that the more you terrify yourself with these thoughts, you will bring about panic attacks onto yourself so i'd really suggest you see a doctor because with worrying yourself as you are, you're not doing yourself any favours and in the long run might make yourself worse with stress as well as panic attacks.
Maybe try to think of the good times and good things to come to help take your mind off things a little, it might not help much but do see a Dr if u can.

Nothing depressing in there. Actually, you're entirely normal, by my definition (Which, actually, probably shouldn't be followed, considering I'm one of the least normal people ever).
I believe it's absolutely normal to think dark thoughts. Human nature is not intended to be happy with what we have, for if we were, we would still be in the prehistoric ages.
