You can make alot of it, depending on how handy you are. I made an AKC regulation course.

You already have some good suggestions, but I would join the yahoo group agility equipment. There are some good plans there, as well as people to give advice.

I would also suggest a book or two about agility training before you start, or else take a class.

There are a few books on Agility and some web sites that will show you how to make most of your own equipment and with a little effort, it's a bit cheaper to do than buying on line.

I'd also suggest seeking out an Agility Club in your area and get suggestions from them on trainers. If you can become a member of an Agility Club, it opens the door for you to get together with others interested in this fun dog sport and have practices together to fine tune your dogs.

There are several places. Jand J supplys also look on the akc.org site on the internet. You might look for a Agility training club in your area. If you live in New Mexico or Texas area you should find some. I live in texas.
