BEFORE I BEGIN: PLEASE FORGIVE MY GENERALIZATIONS AND STEREOTYPES
I have a crush on a certain guy (very SEXY man), but due to recent events, I have put my "Gay-dar" on for him:
On a typical day, he usually stares AND smiles at me for long periods of time
However, he really "connects" with WOMEN---as in I see him with more women friends who really admire him than men friends
He's very Sensitive ("abnormally" sensitive) ---it's almost as though he "understands" women
I've seen him put his hands on his hips (once)
I've seen a small instance of a "gay-bounce" in his stride/walk
I've seen him at one point cross his legs like a woman an clasp his hands over his knees
Recently, He's been avoiding me---there was a trip that our club/organization went on, and he talked to and said goodbye to everyone BUT me.
HOWEVER,
I have'nt really detected anything in his voice (although it's quite tender and SEXY!!!--I might add)
ARRRGGHH!!!!! He has such a great personality and sense of humor.

I have a friend who is everything you just said, he doesn't speak with the stereotypical "gay accent" either. From how you describe him, it is unfortunately most likely that he's gay. However, my best friend is a guy who hangs out with mostly girls and he is straight, but he doesn't present himself in any feminine way. What's also funny is I actually used to have a crush on my gay friend because of the features you've described your male crush has, it is very frustrating.lol. I hope that things work out between you and this guy.lol. Now that I reread your question you mention that you've only seen most of these things occur once, so I would also like to tell you to maybe wait a little longer before convicting your crush of being gay, and maybe ask him why he's seemingly avoiding you lately.good luck.

And the problem is? Currently, he is your friend. Keep him as such, and if he is straight (and is interested in you) he will make advances. If he's gay (or just not interested) then you have yourself a friend with a great personality and a sense of humor.

Why dont you choke around with him and be like how is your girlfriend today and just see how he reacts just for the heck of it. *crosses fingers for you to be able to date him* My really good friend who is a guy has more girlfriends then guy friends matter of a fact all of his friends are girls....and my mom asked me if he was gay and I never thought of it..so I was talking to him one day and hes like I have wondered if I was gay because all my friends are girls but hell they are to hott. So you never know

i think that you need to firstly figure out why he is giving you the cold shoulder. patch up your differences and once things get back to normal between you two.. get him alone and just kiss him. you'll find out then if he is interested. if he resists.. then maybe its time for you have a girl to girl talk with him and get him to open up to you like best friends do.

He could be gay i have many gay friends at my school but u can usually tell but i found out someone u would NEVER suspect to be gay is gay !! he could be gay or bi and from the way u described him something is up ..

im like that except i dont have the gay walk...i would like to think i understand women... when i dont know if i do... and i put my hands on my hips sometimes...for the fun of it or cuz im bored and have nothing else to do...i cross my legs... but putting your hands on your lap ...idk about that... and im not gay ... but you gotta watch out he might be i dunno
