I just finished watching Al Gore's inconveinent truth movie in my film class. Is the apocalypse coming? How can I prevent it?

plan on purchasing an electric vehicle in 2008
never have a house built from wood (adobe or cob are good alternatives)
conserve water and electricity
and recomend that movie to everyone you know.

Uhh, I've never seen the movie. No, the apocalypse is not coming. The apocalypse has nothing to do with global warming.

if an apocolypse is comming, its gonna be from a combination of every humans problems not just yours, so theres really not much you can do. And for global warming, buy a good hybrid car when they get more developed and a smidge cheaper. or just support any less poluting thing. btw, nostadomus says its all gonna hit the fan in 2012 in december, so thats what im worried about.
