Have a bagel with cream cheese and a scrambled egg. It's better for you to eat wholesome foods and not a bunch of snacks.

Hi,
Let me tell you that its very unhealthy to skip your breakfast or have only less of it in the morning.
After a long night break ,our body tend to require more energy in the form of food.
So,in the morning you can have :
** Corn flakes with milk.
** Some fruits like apple, peach or bananas
** Juice
** Oat meal
** Omelette with bread (which you usually eat)
Even then you feel hungry, then you can obviously carry some light food such as fruits and sandwiches with you .

If you eat starchy foods in the morning, odds are you will be starving later on. I recommend the egg/bacon with half and english muffin over the cereal. Coffee or tea would be good with your meal.
If you need a snack later on, a handful of almonds is good:)

I can tell ya this: If you eat any type of carb in the morning (bread...bagels....pancakes) you will be hungrier in the afternoon, than if you ate a protein at breakfast.
Try to just eat fruit and protein for breakfast. That could mean a egg.....bacon....any type of meat. You should not get the hunger pangs in the afternoon.

Breakfast burritos are 'portable'.
Scramble up some sausage, cook till done. Add shreaded potatos and cook till done. Add scrambled egg mixture and cook till done. Take flour tortilla, add a scoop or two of the mixture, add shreadded cheese and wrap up nice and tight (burrito style). You can make quite a few of these (on Sunday for example and store in refrigerator) and then you just heat one up at at time and take with you.

Try a 5-grain hot cereal with sliced banana... salt and sweeten to taste (try crystallized maple), add some cinnamon, a bit of butter or ghee, and whatever else you enjoy. This keeps me going until around 1pm. It tastes yummy and it's really good for you!

from everything I have read "Fruit" should be the only thing eaten before noon. At first you will feel hungry but that will go away. Read the book Fit for Life it will give you some good advice.
