If you want to hold bigoted, discriminatory beliefs, keep them to yourself. When you try and shove them down my throat, it becomes hate speech.
Your definition of "right" and "wrong" does not hold true for everyone. Of course, you should also remember your teachings about not judging others, but I'm sure you conveniently forget that, as well as tolerance, justice, love and compassion.
How much further can you turn your back on Jesus' teachings before you realize what you truly are is not a "christian," but a hypocrite?
p.s. It's even more hypocritical when people say "love the sinner, hate the sin" when they obviously hate both sinner AND sin.

Everyone follow this christain on these few of many points.Who out there would take in their home gay person for 7 months? Our family of 6 did but thats not boasting but christain because they knew we was open faced christains. We do as the teachings of christ,we don't cram bible down ppl's faces lest we be sinning,we know there are self rightous ppl needing to understand luke ch.18 that need too know all have sinned,Please let your light shine before men, blessed are you when men say things about you as christ taught so what is it if they talk about him he ant offened so you shouldn't be.And hate ithe good refers too only God is good not toward the person,things,etc,...we are not too debate the bible and only truth comes from those in God and his favor he speeches though.Sad is the brainwashed that have been beaten with the bible and beat others.Lastly pray first before doing things that ppl see for they are watching.

First I would just like to point out you're presenting a very narrow point of view when you use the phrase 'speak the truth that comes straight from the BIBLE' since not everyone believes as you do. Second, as I haven't seen this discussion board I don't want to assume too much but since it's about religion, as long as you aren't attacking someone in particular I would think you would be able to express your beliefs as long as you're backing it up with quotes from your religious text that supports your point.

Because the world is made up of many people with different schools of thought and beliefs. You take the position of absolute authority and then accuse others of being brainwashed. If you believe you have the power to change what is by making biblical references...think again and be thankful you were not born that way and have to endure the censorship of such ignorance in the name of our Creator.

It IS hate speech if you are damning homosexuals to hell, unless of course you are God, then you MUST know what is in everyone's hearts and in that case, feel free to pass judgments as you see fit. The bottom line is your hate won't get you into heaven either. You SHOULD love everyone, does it not say that somewhere in your bible?

You're right! The Bible does say that a man lying with a man is an abomination. The same verse says that eating unclean foods (pork, shellfish, etc.) is also an abomination. Let's focus on the foods for a change and leave the gays and lesbians in peace! They deserve the same rights as all other citizens receive.

Living your life according to some outdated book written by men, not God, is an example of brainwashing. How do you know if those guys had it right? I also heard that the disciple who wrote that it was wrong in the bible was just homophobic. Learn to think for yourself, I'm sure God prefers it that way.

Easy -- any person can be homosexual, it doesn't matter their religious preference. You are making degrading remarks about a condition that anyone may be. Therefore, it is seen as hateful. Keep the bashing where it belongs- in your head, and with your friends. And I doubt these were "questions" anyhow, probably more like rantings.

dont talk about brainwashing. im srry your question was deleted, and i agree that there is a great deal of hate around here, but dont talk about brainwashed.
no offense, but many of the christians who post here are just as brainwashed as the liberals/atheists/agnostics/etc.
and i hope the ppl who answer on this site learn a little common courtesy soon, because it is EXTREMELY RUDE to insult another person's religion. just so everyone knows.

Perhaps part of the problem is that you are not thinking, but just spouting passages from a book. That gets very close to propaganda, rather than discussion.
Can you come up with a reasoned arguement that does not consist entirely of "It says in St Fred Chapter 4 that....."?
