If you use 2 different size irons it will give a more natural effect. Use a curl locking mist in each section before applying heat to keep the curl from dropping.

I wouldn't reccomend using hairspray if you have thick hair because then it weighs it down. If you are curling your hair for a specific occassion, Curl your hair 2 hours before.. This will give it time to let the curls settle, and they won't look so bouncy

Oh, particular, everyone's hair will curl. yet you will desire to do it properly. i'm assuming you haven't any longer broken your hair from using warm irons -- those can wreck the inner shape so as which you won't have the ability to form it into something -- curls or quickly. while your hair is damp after towel-drying after a shampoo, you may form small strands of your hair into curls only around your finger. Use the dimensions of finger to furnish you the curl you p.c. -- or use 2 or 3 palms for greater curls. Wind the hair easily around the finger like a flat ribbon -- do no longer twist the strand, or you will get unusual formations. Then slip the finger out, and clip the curl in place. enable it dry totally and thoroughly (maximum obligatory!) you may place the curl only on the ends, or with 0.5 the strands, or superb as much as the scalp. each and each has its own seem. place all of them in a row around your face, only alongside the hairline, and you gets particularly a effective seem. test. you need to use some styling aids as nicely, to furnish it extra potential, yet confirm you dry the hair thoroughly. Any moisture in the hair, and it will bypass limp, and not form bouncing curls. only separate including your palms, or a p.c.., or use a broom. The extra you sweep, the extra controlled the curls are, yet they are going to in no way bypass quickly. they'd desire to stay that way for a pair days -- or till you get the hair moist back. in the event that they do start to droop, you may curl them up back while dry, and bypass away them in one day, or perhaps 20 min in the morning as you dress. it is going to easily be sufficient to restore the curl somewhat.

If you have a good diffuser on your hairdryer (a cup one not a flat one) use AG's Recoil, add it to wet hair after you get out of the shower then difuse your hair (scrunch scrunch scrunch along the way) and you'll get this awesome sort of curly beach hair and the stuff smells awesome too. Also it doesn't have that stickiness like some hairsprays do and it doesn't go crispy, it's actually soft. This will only work if you have a proper diffuser though.

Yes, don't use hair spray to hold your curls, use like a setting lotion and then curl your hair, finish it up with a polisher, or just use a wet set... it does less damage then using a curling iron.

Try garnier fructis soft curl cream, this product lets you srunch without it looking crunchy. wash and put in about a dime-sized amout, scrunch, and do a (quick) shot of holding hairspray. when it dries, it will look amazing!

You want to straighten your hair first- even if your hair is already straight. Then you want to spray water on it. Let hair dry naturally... And voila! Natural looking curls!
