I like Caruso Hairsetter. It's supposed to not damage your hair because the heat comes from steam and it locks in the curl for a looooong time. Do a search on the net. They used to have infomercials on it years ago and I don't think they do anymore but I know it's still out there and I've used it for many, many years. Good luck!

Personally I've never used hot rollers (they never seemed to work for me, I have the thick hair going on too). I use this fat curling iron made from Hot Tools. It's very fast and has the best results ever. It's really great for waving your hair. The one I use is the 1 1/2". I get so many compliments on my hair. I had a few people tell me my hair looked fake cause it looked that nice. Another thing that I like about this curling iron is you don't even need to put anything in your hair like hairspray to keep your curls. I've recommended this curling iron to a lot of girls and not one is unsatisfied. The curling iron has a 24k gold-plated barrel it gets hotter than a oven and it's very affordable, they also have ceramic irons. Check out this web-site, I'm sure you'll love it. I sure do! www.folica.com There is so many other web-sites that have Hot Tools products. You can also just type in hot tools in the search engine. I really hope you get one and enjoy it. Good Luck!!

Steam rollers are the best. Avoid hot roller, they tend to damage hair if used frequently.

Rag curls, created from previous sheets, sof t gentle cloth are maximum suitable. decrease into strips a minimum of a foot long. section hair into 4 sections, gently mist w/placing lotion, reckoning on how fat or skinny you p.c. the curls, take somewhat and start up at base of scalp with rag at scalp, wind the hair around rag till ultimately not extra left , take each and each end of rag, tie in knot. in case you have a blow dryer , run it throughout head on severe, shifting flippantly and in no way on one spot too long , or if effective day take a seat in solar, while hair feels dry sufficient , (below a million/2 hr) you may particularly "set" it with a "chilly" shot with blow dryer chilly button, this seals down cuticle layer , making for longer lasting curls.
