Well my friend really likes this guy but he won't go out with her because she isn't as popular as he is and then he said "the only reason that she is as popular as she is, is because the guys are trying to get in her pants!"

I would say that your friend is better off looking for someone else in this case. For someone to not date another person that isn't as "popular" as they are really has some issue's within themselves that they are afraid of. So they show off the way they do to become popular so that they could cover up all their worries and insecurities. Tell her not to feel any less than he does just because she isn't popular other than the reason he says. She has a chance to make herself popular based on who she is not what she is. He's stuck right now because he has to be this person he has created to stay popular. She is much more free to express and be who she is and find someone that can appreciate and respect that. No one like that is worth fighting for, they are close minded and have no insight to the real world. Ditch him....there are better streets to walk more safely and happily.

Tell your friend that she needs to get over this guy. If he's worried about his popularity status, he obviously isn't worth her time. She'll find a much better guy soon enough.

oh my god that happened to me but I was popular because I like to talk to everyone and laugh I also joined alot of sports and alot of people respect me and I got cooler so I guess it's his loss he asked me out after ward I said no
