Hi there! Let me begin by saying that I definitely understand what you mean about your sister already having everything she needs. I found that I had that same problem when it came to shopping for my brothers. So, here is what I have learned to do. I have become extremely creative in making personalized gifts. For example, I have a brother who took French in high school and plans to go study for a year in France. I bought a rectangular piece of wood and painted it the colors of the French flag. I then bought all of the pieces to make the piece of wood that I had painted into a clock. I bought cute French stickers to place on the numbers 12,3,6 and 9 and the minute hand was the top of the Eiffel Tower. At the end, I had a wonderful French clock that I made on my own and that could not have been made with more care. My gift was the highlight of our family X-Mas because it was made with a lot of love.
In return, that same brother game me a personalized gift for my birthday. He gave me a picture that we took together at a concert and had it professionaly placed in a crystal picture frame with the engraving on the bottom in French which said "Ma soeur, m'amie" which means "My sister, my friend." That is probably the most heartfelt gift I have ever received in my life.

I hope this helps, and remember that anything that is made especially for that one person, will probably make them feel like they're one in a million to you!

I think I might have the answer for your sister. If you say she has everything already, why not give a donation to a cause on her behalf? I believe this would give her and yourself great satisfaction. Is a gift that keeps giving. Happy Holidays.

I think I am going to give this to my mom, a netflix subscription, it is reasonable and everyone loves movies. Maybe another cool idea would be an ebay gift certificate, better variety than a mall.

If she is in college, unless you are rich, there is probably not a lot of money for extras or pampering. I would suggest some scented candles, gift sets with body oil, body wash, etc. Basically, stuff that she could use to pamper herself.

What do you get the person who has everything? I have this problem a lot, but I think if you get them their favorite soap, lotion, hair products, and maybe a candle. Put it all in a basket and there you go. Even if the person has everything these are things that you know she will use and usually these are things that we usually get tired of buying.

A gift card to Wal Mart. Or Target. You can always use something from there!

Donate something to charity, sponsor a starving child, or send a calling card to a soldier this Christmas... but do it in her name.
