what does this quote mean to you?

Do the best you can with what you have. A truck is never going to become a corvette, so you have to make do with what you have.

If your wife is as big as a truck, you really cant do anything about changing her into a slimmer Corvette. You have to put up with your hefty wife.

This quote is really an attempt to say you should be happy with what you have. This quote does not do a very good job of expressing its' meaning. It is rather awkward and poorly punctuated.

here. i can make this a little more confusing for you.
in other words
identities don't change, therefore, happiness can only be achieved through acceptance.
in other other words.... if you dont have the power to change something, the only way you can find peace is to adapt to the situation and accept your trouble & move on.
