Rumsfeld selected Pace as Chairman of JCS. IMO, Pace has been ineffectual and has been a mere sycophant to Bush and Rumsfeld. Your opinion please.

No. if GEN Pace is truly a professonal, he will 'roll with the punches' and do what he is directed to do. No-one gets that far in the Military without learning to be flexible.

I think Misanrhro... means have a different 4 Star officer become the new CJCS...not have the SECDEF step down and take the job...which being a civilian he can't.

Also, Aaron...the CJCS hasn't only been a General. Admiral William Crowe was the Chairman during the Reagan administration.

The CJCS is, and will always be, a general. Someone who's done more than just graduate with a degree in plitical science and suck up to rich friends to set a name for themselves. And Rumsfeld didn't just select him to do his will. He selected him because he's a damn fine leader and has what it takes to get the job done. Hooah!

No. Immoral a million. violating moral concepts; no longer conforming to the kinds of habit in many situations regularly occurring or regular as in line with concepts of deepest and social ethics. If that would not describe similar sex relationships, i don't understand what is going to. If similar sex relationships are frequently regularly occurring then why are gays contained in the "closet"? Does "immoral" describe Gen. p.c..? No. because his perspectives and moves are frequently regularly occurring. Does "bigot" describe Gen. p.c..? No. he's voicing his beliefs. Which with the aid of how, are the perspectives and ideology of the final public. And if the final public believes similar sex relationships are immoral, then how are you going to call him a bigot. "i'm the Lord thy God; thou shalt haven't the different gods before me" So, God must be a bigot too. seeing that he obviously is illiberal of alternative Gods and their beliefs.

I don't agree with your opinion and I don't see anything backing your opinion so NO, Pace should not be replaced. I suppose you formed your opinion based on your vast military command experience Huh?

Gates is a civilian.

A civilian can never be CJCS, so your question is moot.
