we are planing to buy a video camera?

we are deciding between a mini dv camcorder or a dvd camcorder.i need to know with dvd camcorder how are the results?and are they practical ?

It sounds like you don't know much about video, but don't take that the wrong way. What I mean is, your probably gonna just want to shoot and watch, and not worry about editing. So in that case, get a dvd cam. It has pretty good quality, and all you have to do is shoot and watch. Hope this helps!
