You put the installation cd in the tray and reboot!

put the windows cd in and reboot. while the white on black startup text is doing its thing, memory check etc, press the button that calls up the boot options (you gotta be quick, by the time the windows logo appears it's too late and you have to shut down and try again). this is usually F2, F4, F8, delete or escape, it's different depending on your computer, but if you get the right one you might glance something like BOOT==>GO, GO==>startup options, or something like this, but you'll know when you get it because, instead of windows starting, you'll get an option come up asking which you want to boot from, IDE-0 (harddrive), CD-ROM, USB etc. Use arrows to highlight CD-ROM and press enter. the windows setup should launch from the disc and talk you through the rest of the process, giving you options to format, reinstall, repair... if you want a completely fresh windows, format the drive; you will lose all your files and settings on that drive, but otherwise windows can pick up files and settings you don't want from the old installation.

insert CD into a computer, chose to boot from CD by pressing enter, then press F8 to accept the agreement.
select the C:drive to stall the XP but remember to partition the hard disk, and from their follow the information display on the screen

first put the reboot cd in turn ur pc off then turn it on and keep pressin f12 evry 1 second then a screen wil come up asking what u want to do select the reboot windows and follow the instructions

put the cd in to windows run the cd winnt icon by clicking on start and my computer your cd drive and the i386 file and then find winnt or winnt32 and then follow the instructions.
