Don't let her get any name tattoos. I have a anklet with a celestial sign (have sun/half moon) tattoo. I love it. I do agree with a lot of the answers that suggest it depends on her personality. What are her interests? What is she passionate about. It also depends on where she wants it. Something I did before getting a tattoo was I went to the temporary tattoo machines (usually outside grocery stores or you can find them in any department store) and I found some designs I liked and then I put them on in various spots. I then chose what I liked the most and then I decided on the spot where it looked the best. This is also a nice thing to do together....:>) Whatever is decided though, she needs to make that decision because she is the one living with it.

I think the tattoo should reflect her personality and interests and passions in life. I know nothing about her, so I can only suggest she finds something she likes and has it custom drawn by a tattoo artist so she can be ensured a one of a kind tattoo.

Tell her to get something that has meaning to her. Her favorite flower. Maybe a family member passed away that means something to her. If so, is there anything that makes her think of that person? Watch Miami Ink. There's tons of ideas on that show. Don't let her get something that means nothing to her. Even if she designs it herself, it is better than a butterfly.

first go online and look at tat art and art in general print things that she likes and what she doesn't like, even if its just a certain part of it not just the entire thing itself. then take all of that into a NICE tat shop and look through there books and talk to an artist there and incorporate all the ideas that she like into an original work of art that really is special and she wont regret but if she doubts it even alittle DO NOT DO IT.Its good to have meaning to tats but they don't have to. its her body and her personality so make sure its something that she really loves. so i hope that that helps to point you guys in the right direction. good luck

the best tattoo for her to get is something she comes up with herself... if she has no idea what she wants then she does not need to be getting a tattoo just yet

Celtic knot. Find out which one has the meaning she most likes, and put that on her shoulder, or if it's more of a rope, around her bicep.

She should get your name tattooed onto any part of her body. Then have it framed with pretty flowers or fluttery hearts! cute too cute

It would depend on her personality, interests, etc..

I've noticed some girls who are partial to flowers (roses in particular) and fairies. Just an idea!
