I am in Georgia. I purchased a car in October, it is noe December. I constantly call the dealership, but no one is helping me. They just give me the run around. My temporary tag is expired. I called the county tag office to see if it was applied for. They told me it has not yet been transferred. Is there any legal actions I can take to rush them on applying for my tag?

The dealership MUST give you a new temporary tag if they can't provide the real one yet.

I worked in dealerships for years and it's usually the business office understaffed and full of attitude. Stop talking to the sales department and talk to their comptroller or general manager. The best way to get something done at a dealership is to get loud in the showroom when there are lots of customers. Don't get violent or use profanity, just state facts in a little higher voice than you usually use. Trust me, it works.

I would immediately call the Georgia Department of Revenue or Motor Vehicle Department to find out what is going on. This sounds like a serious issue that could leave you holding the bag. Failure to register your car could mean that they don't have a clear title. That might mean you could lose your car.
