No shampoo or any other thing you put ON your hair can affect its growth, the growth takes place from the follicle root which can only be nourished by supplements we take internally -- a systemic approach.
I have been taking hair supplements for the past 3 years and here is what I have found.
ProCaps labs makes a great supplement called "Hair Skin and Nails" formula, here is the link for that
http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/pages/pro...
This is in capsule form and easy to swallow. This company, ProCaps labs is also extremely reputable and carries pure and effective products.
I took GNC's Nourishair for four months, and supplemented it with extra Biotin tablets daily due to its low Biotin content. I took 2500 micrograms extra Biotin with the GNC pills.
The Procaps hair vites have 2500 micrograms of Biotin in them, and don't really require extra Biotin be taken, but I do take an additional 2500 micrograms of Biotin for a daily total of 5000 micrograms of Biotin.
My hair is growing in thick and dark and quite quickly. My hair used to be very slow growing, but all of these supplements have really made a difference.
The only way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made, any shampoos or oils or other topically applied things do nothing to change hair's structure, that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of its growth

There's nothing to put in your hair that will make it grow faster, and cutting it doesn't make it grow faster either, because hair grows from the roots, not the tips, and cutting it has no effect on the roots. Hair has a natural speed it will grow at, slightly different for everyone and controlled by hormones, and the only thing to change the speed is malnutrition, which will slow it down and make it weaker.

I don't think shampoos can make your hair grow faster, but try a long and strong shampoo to keep it healthy. And the healthier it is the faster it grows.

Shampoo won't help it grow. One of the worst things you can do to long hair is over wash it. Use a very good conditioner.

Try a shampoo that is scalp stimulating or something with mint. This stimulates your scalp and promotes healthy, fuller hair growth. They use the same concept for thinning hair shampoos. You can also use a scalp stimulating spray such as from Alterna. Alterna and Pureology are awesome!

hair won't "grow faster" with a certain type of shampoo -- actually, when you get your hair cut, it helps your hair grow a little faster.

A couple of years ago I cut me hair very short and after cutting it, I wanted it to grow back, I told my mother and she told me "if you want your HAIR TO GROW back and FASTER cut it when the moon is full. I did it and WOA.. it just works! (just do it next month, just cut your ends when the moon is full, this is the way mother nature works. After this you will notice a great grow. Sweety, Nature don't fails!

Any shampoo that has a scalp stimulating ingredients like Tea tree oil, Eucalyptus oil, green tea or rose water, then I would follow that with a hydrating conditioner. You can also use a leave tonic if you have extra dry hair.

Horse shampoos do no longer make your hair improve longer, yet quite makes it more advantageous. caution: Horse Shampoos are used specifically round showing, the position the horses coat needs to shine. Horse shampoos run the prospect of imparting you with great shine, yet no longer quite deep cleansing. The conditioners can make your hair quite greasy.
