any suspicion, no matter how slight, of abuse of any kind, certian guidelines, ordered by the Vatican to every bishop in the world, must be followed:

1) first and formemost, care and concern will be provided for the victims

2) full coperation will be given to all law enforcement agencies

3) immediate suspension of any priest involved until a full investigation has been completed by the police.

This is only partial.

I am curious to know of any Protestant church that has similar written instructions that must be followed.
