Any of the fluffs can be cheap, easy and sweet. Just search for pink fluff or orange fluff or ambrosia and you'll find hundreds. For the Pink Fluff recipe that follows, you should be able to make 8 servings for under $8.

Just as a note from someone who's made them often, the Magic Bars can be easy, but sometimes for some reason, they can be, well let's say, not perfect.

PINK FLUFF

1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained
1 can (20 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 oz.) container frozen non-dairy topping, thawed
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients; stir well. Chill 4 hours.

Does a pie count? Put a can of crushed pineapple in a bowl, sprinkle with a box of pistachio pudding mix, stir and let sit for ten minutes. Fold in a container of Cool Whip, dump into a Keebler graham crust and stick it in the fridge. Only takes 15 minutes to make, and another 4 hours to chill. Easy as, well, pie!

When I was a young boy, my mother would melt chocolate chips, 1 or 2 bags, and then add a bag of chopped peanuts or other nut, and then fold in a tin or 2 of chow mein noodles, like the one you get at a chinese restaurant for your soup.

There crunchy, low fat, sweet, nutty and all you have to do is open a couple of tins or bags, chop the nuts, melt the chocolate chips, put them in a metal or glass bowl and melt over a pot of warm water, you can add chopped cherries, marshmallows, even crushed but not crumbs of corn flakes.
