Most definitely I think yes!!

I am sorry to burst your bubble sweetie.

But.. you could be a flower girl.. or if you think that is to kidish...

You could be the host and greet the people at the door and make sure they sign the guest book.

Hope it helps!!

No. Most 8 year olds would love being a junior bridesmaid because they would feel "grown up" and may be insulted if they were asked to be a flower girl. I was a junior bridesmaid when I was 7 because the flower girl was 4.

Hey, I've seen 8-year-olds as plain old regular bridesmaids, so probably not! Keep in mind though that being a bridesmaid of any kind is a big job, and an 8-yr-old might get stressed out about it - or not treat it respectfully. Consider carefully if this girl is mature and responsible enough to handle the job and not totally distract from the ceremony.

I chose to have no one under the age of 21 in my wedding - adults made the whole deal a whole lot easier!

My 8 year old daughter is going to be a junior bridesmaid in 2 weeks. She is too tall (she's nearly 5 ft tall!) to be a flower girl and too young to be a bridesmaid so a junior bridesmaid is just perfect for her.

Yes. Flower girls are 4-9. Junior bridesmaids are 10-14.

No, but if there is going to be other jr. bridesmaids then they all should be around the same age. An 8 year old can also be a junior bride.

No, not at all. I was 7 years old when my brother asked me to be a junior bridesmaid. That was 18 years ago, and it is still one of the most exciting memories I have of my brother and the beginnings of my relationship with my sister-in-law. Whhen you are that young, chances are you dont get to be an active participant in all the activities, the planning, the parties, the reception, etc., so it is a fantastic way to make that little girl in your life very excited and very honored.

all and sundry would be something you p.c. them to be. My buddy grow to be a "flower guy" fairly of a typical newborn flowergirl, and everyone enjoyed it. yet another buddy had her 9 year previous daughter and ten year previous son as attendants. yet another buddy had a guy of Honor. Do despite you like. top has no longer something to do including your preliminary question, and it particularly would not count. My 14 year previous sister is my Maid of Honor and my 8 year previous sister would be my flowergirl. I say have her as a bridesmaid. to call her a junior bridesmaid might only harm her emotions, and make her experience alienated. yet to respond to your question, junior bridesmaids are many times 8 or 9 to despite age the bride and groom chooses.

Just about right. Under 5's are a nightmare. An 8 year old will be just happy to do it, and will be happy with whatever dress you put her in.

My bridesmaid was nearly 10, and I got her just in time.
