Why are so many _________ so angry?
Why must they constantly bash _________ rather than learn more about it? They make a straw man argument and knock it down. Why must they do this?
(Fill in the blanks with any two opposing philisophies.)

Sorry, but not angry and not interested in the whole bang theory. I have listened to enough including my college years.
I care not how God created. I am glad he did it and I do not need to go looking for straw when I have been filled with milk and honey.
I hope other Christians are not angry with you. Maybe you are mistaken religious fervor with anger. Christians say there is a God, Atheism says no and each thinks the other pigheaded. This can be said of all religions and beliefs.
Why do you argue with us? Do you seriously care what we believe. Why? Are we hurting some one or ourselves?
I argue with you or plead with you because I know where you are going and I desire to save you, but unlike a burning house or a sinking boat I cannot knock you out and drag you to safety. You must come to it willingly.
I do apologize, for what it is worth, that others, myself included, have been angry with you and your kind, but my motives are pure.

I wasn't aware that they were so angry. Sure, some are aggressive about wanting people "to see the light", but for the most part I haven't seen this argumentative side you talk about. But I guess I don't feel the need to explain or justify my atheism, it just IS, so enough said.

It is very simple.
The single greatest cause of Atheism in the world today is Christan's, who claim Jesus with their lips and deny him by their life style. To an unbelieving world they simply find this unbelievable.
Many Christians wear their Christianity on their shirt sleeves and are easily offended when someone makes a comment about their faith. I can understand that. The problem comes in when they react. Instead of following the faith that take the faith off, set it to the side and get right down in to the mud. Facts are facts, I am guilty of doing that myself. But is that what by faith we are called to do? No.
What we are suppose to do is follow the teachings that we claim. Love God, love your neighbor, love your enemies, bless these who cruse you. Treat others in the manner in which you want to be treated yourself. To have compassion (concerned passion, concerned love) for other. These are the things that our faith teaches and by faith these are the things that we are suppose to become. Being selfless instead of being selfish.
I believe that the true proof of our faith is not proved in some historical find but by our actions. The real proof is not found in the words we say but in the actions of our heart. Words by themselves mean nothing if they are not backed up by the faithful actions of your heart. Which is more believable?

I don't bash anyone for their belief's. If there is no God and you believe in Him, you have nothing to lose. On the other hand, if there is a God and you do not believe, you will lose everything. That is my belief, and what I know to be true, and you are entitled to what you believe and I would never "bash" you. However, I do feel sorry for anyone that does not believe. I hope this does not offend you because this is not my intent. Just telling you how I feel.

They are reacting to rationality in an irrational manner. When faced with truth that causes them to doubt, they immediately turn off their brains and spout dogma. If dogma is challenged, they freak. Coming into this forum is great, it is like forcing them to play intellectual "Where's Waldo" and they are woefully not up to the task.

Christians have a strong tendency towards triumphalism.
Triumphalism is the attitude or belief that a particular doctrine, culture, or social system is superior to and should triumph over all others.
